Hopefully somebody can help me. We've just upgraded to 9.5 sp1 (nice!!). I have created a custom string called "Warranty" for one of my devices and noticed this populated to the other devices pretty quickly - this is a good thing!.
I have a list of machines in a spreadsheet with their warranty start and end dates and a list of machines out of LDMS. I can manipulate this data into any sort of format using excel. I am hoping there is a way to import the warranty data so it will update that field with the information and I guess for the information to be retained after each inventory scan.
Any clues would be very handy.
