Inventory branches - what is the difference?

Hi Fellow LD'ers,

Looking at Inventory, I can see the following branches

1. Detected Patch and Compliance Definitions
2. Patch and Compliance Definitions
3. Security and  Patch Definitions

What is the difference between them?
