LANDesk 8 installation : Service is stopping constantly since mid april by reference to the logs Seem to count the instances " It has done this 9 time(s)." up to 9 then rollback to 1.
..\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\ldscan seems to have a large accumaltion of .SCN files matching the events in the application log of the form :
“Inventory data for {<GUID>} is out of sync. A full scan will be forced.”.
Whats the solution? remove the .SCN files for instance. Need to get the service back running consistantly.
