Is there a way I can modify what information LANDesk collects from WMI? I realize I can do the vbscript/LDSCNHLP.ini combo to collect the information and jam the info into the registry (described here: http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-5730), however, I am wondering if there is an easier way (via a .mof file or something similar) to do this.
For example, we are deploying Office 2010. I want to find out which machines have validated via our KMS license server and which ones are using MAK license keys. The information is easy to get from WMI via the LicenseStatus & LicenseFamily properties of the OfficeSoftwareProtectionProduct class. So I'd like LANDesk to grab that property from all of my computers.
So in general I guess my question is, how does LANDesk know what to grab from WMI?
