Inventory scan uses proxy?

Hello,

This maybe a dumb question or it has been answered somewhere else, but I can't find it in the LANDesk help files or on the community.

Does the inventory scan om Windows clients use the Internet Explorer LAN settings to send the inventory results to the core?
